Julie is a board-certified Physician Assistant with extensive experience in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She is passionate about providing comprehensive, patient-centered care and empowering individuals through education and preventative skin care. Julie earned her undergraduate degree from James Madison University in 2008 and completed her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Shenandoah University in 2011, where she was awarded multiple scholarships for academic excellence. She began her career in family medicine, practicing for seven years before transitioning to dermatology in 2019. Her diverse medical background allows her to take a holistic approach to skin health, considering both dermatologic and systemic factors when treating her patients.

Julie specializes in full-body skin examinations, skin cancer detection, and the treatment of a wide range of dermatologic conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, hair loss, and more. She also offers cosmetic services such as chemical peels, microneedling, neurotoxins, and laser therapies, helping patients achieve healthy, radiant skin.

A Virginia native, Julie enjoys spending time with her husband, Dave, and their three sons, Eli, Jacob, and Brady. Outside of work, she loves reading, exercising, baking,
volunteering at church, and cheering on her sons at their sporting events. Julie is excited to bring her expertise and compassionate approach to our practice.
